NORWALK, Conn. (AP) - Norwalk police say they have a suspect in a shooting that left a 43-year-old city man dead.
Police have obtained a warrant charging 37-year-old Vamond Elmore with murder and numerous firearms violations in the shooting of Jimmy Martinez, who was fatally shot at about 2 a.m. on May 15 on Leonard Street.
Police say Elmore goes by the street name “Wooley King” and is convicted felon. He also is being sought by the U.S. Marshal Service for a probation violation in a federal firearms case.
