ATLANTA (AP) - The Atlanta BeltLine development project has been given a multimillion dollar grant from the James M. Cox Foundation.
The foundation announced Tuesday that it’s giving a $5 million grant to help develop the Atlanta BeltLine’s Westside trail.
The BeltLine is a redevelopment project composed of a tree-lined trail linking a network of public parks along a 22-mile railroad corridor around the city.
Cox Foundation officials say the Westside trail will be a three-mile path that will connect four schools and four parks.
