HAVRE, Mont. (AP) - A 30-year-old Great Falls man who was shot in the leg during a reported home invasion in Billings has been arrested near Havre after a police chase.

KOJM-AM reports (https://bit.ly/1jYlNTE ) Christopher Michelotti was arrested early Monday and turned over to the U.S. Marshal’s Service.

Michelotti was wanted on an aggravated burglary charge for a May 11 break-in in Billings in which he was shot. Michelotti left the hospital later that week. An arrest warrant set his bail at $500,000.



The chase early Monday was initiated by the Rocky Boy police department. It continued through Hill County and into Havre where the car hit a spike strip. Officers were able to stop the car southeast of Havre sometime after 2 a.m.

A 26-year-old woman who was driving the car also was arrested.
