DAHLONEGA, Ga. (AP) - Law officers in a north Georgia county are searching for suspects after burglaries at three churches.

Lumpkin County sheriff’s officials tell CBS Atlanta (https://bit.ly/1pc3LAE) that they’re seeking leads from the public as they try to track down whoever is responsible for the break-ins. They say all three crimes happened within a few hours on the morning of May 13.

Authorities say St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church, Concord Baptist Church, and Mt. Sinai Baptist Church were burglarized, with money and property taken.

The Atlanta station reports that members of St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church arrived in the office the morning of May 13 to find money missing from deposit envelopes. The money had been collected during offering in the preceding Sunday service.
