PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - The price of a gallon of gasoline in Rhode Island has ticked up a penny in the past week.
AAA Southern New England says Tuesday that self-serve, regular is now $3.70 per gallon, a nickel above the national average.
The in-state price is a penny lower than a month ago but 11 cents higher than at the same time last year.
AAA found a 22-cent range in prices for self-serve, regular from $3.63 per gallon to $3.85 per gallon.
