CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (AP) - Police are investigating a fatal shooting at a party on Long Island.

Suffolk County police said Tuesday that the violence occurred after uninvited guests arrived at a home in Central Islip (EYE’-slihp).

A fight broke out in front of the home after they were asked to leave around 10 p.m. Monday.



One man was shot to death.

A second person was treated at a hospital. Police say it’s not clear what kind of injuries he suffered. But they are not considered life-threatening.
