MOORE, Utah (AP) - The Emery County Sheriff’s Office has identified two people killed in an all-terrain vehicle accident in the San Rafael Desert over the weekend.

The sheriff’s office says in a statement Tuesday that 70-year-old Hubert Roger Issel and his wife, 64-year-old Alana Lea Issel, of American Fork were killed in the Sunday accident in Eagle Canyon, east of the town of Moore.

Their grandchildren, ages 7 and 8, were critically injured when the side-by-side ATV rolled off a cliff about 80 to 100 feet to the canyon floor.

The children were flown by medical helicopters to hospitals.

Further details about the accident were not released Tuesday.
