NEW YORK (AP) - Transit officials say a man was injured after jumping on subway tracks in Brooklyn.

It happened at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church Avenue station.

The MTA says it involved a northbound No. 5 train.

Service is suspended in both directions on the Nos. 2 and 5 lines between Flatbush and Franklin avenues.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether the victim was struck by the train or the train rolled over him.

The agency says he was taken to a hospital. His condition wasn’t immediately known.
