LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Friends of Eastern Cemetery and Preservation Louisville have formed a new network that will focus on helping people interested in preserving and maintaining historic spaces, such as cemeteries, churches and church school buildings. The Sacred Spaces group will allow members to learn from one another about the best ways to preserve historic spaces.

The announcement of the Sacred Spaces network was made on Memorial Day at Eastern Cemetery.

FOEC has been holding regular cleanups at Eastern Cemetery and has been working hard to preserve the grounds.
