Dad accused of letting young daughter drive

WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) - A father accused of asking his 11-year-old daughter to drive because he’d been drinking could face charges in Marathon County.

A police report says the girl got behind the wheel and crashed the family’s SUV into a tree in Wausau last Friday. WAOW-TV (https://bit.ly/1op8Zc2 ) reports police are recommending a charge of recklessly endangering safety. Officers also cited the 35-year-old father for permitting a minor to drive.
