Crews battling small brush fire at Bush Highway

PHOENIX (AP) - Crews are battling a battling a small brush fire along State Route 87 at Bush Highway north of Saguaro Lake.

Authorities say the fire started in a recreational vehicle and then spread to the desert about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The blaze was at 2 acres and located about a quarter mile south of the Mesquite Wash.

Authorities say crews on the ground and air are helping the Mesa Hotshots keep the fire from spreading.
