CARLTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say two women died when their vehicles collided head-on in western Michigan’s Barry County.
The sheriff’s department says the crash happened Monday afternoon in Carlton Township, about 30 miles southeast of Grand Rapids.
The department says both drivers died at the scene.
The Grand Rapids Press says authorities identify the victims as 37-year-old Heather Henney of Woodland and 81-year-old Mary Ranguette of Hastings. Authorities say there were no passengers in either vehicle.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
