COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Authorities have identified two people who drowned over the Memorial Day weekend in South Carolina.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office said 30-year-old Nathaniel King drowned while swimming in the Broad River near downtown Columbia.

Authorities say King disappeared while swimming and divers found his body about four hours later.

The Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office said 19-year-old Bobby Dukes drowned after jumping off a dock at Lake Marion near Eutawville.

Authorities say it took divers about 15 minutes to find Dukes’ body after he didn’t resurface after jumping in the lake.
