SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (AP) - Police in South Salt Lake have arrested a man accused of slashing about three dozen tires at an RV park over the weekend.
South Salt Lake police detective Gary Keller says officers were called to RV lot near 3700 South and State Street early Sunday morning.
Keller says 29-year-old Kenneth Benson fled when officers approached him and police used a stun gun to subdue him.
Benson was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief, theft, failing to stop and other counts.
Police told the Deseret News (https://bit.ly/1r9rDGN) there was several thousand dollars’ worth of damage, including a smashed RV window and about 35 slashed tires.
