SUNSET, La. (AP) - St. Landry Parish sheriff’s detectives have booked a Sunset man into jail on counts of possessing and distributing child pornography.

Capt. Megan Vizena tells The Advocate (https://bit.ly/1m0FVmr ) the arrest of 26-year-old Jake Samuel Snodgrass follows an investigation by detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit and the state Attorney General’s Office.

Vizena said detectives searched Snodgrass’ home in Sunset Wednesday and allegedly found child pornography on his computer.



She says Snodgrass was released from the St. Landry Parish Jail after posting bail of $10,000.

It was unclear whether Snodgrass has an attorney.
