PASADENA, Calif. (AP) - Pasadena police are investigating after a Caltrans crew clearing brush discovered human bones on a hillside near the 134 Freeway.
The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1kaJj01 ) the discovery was made Thursday afternoon in a residential area just south of the Rose Bowl.
Homicide detectives and coroner’s officials remained on the scene early Friday.
The newspaper says no further description of the bones was available, and it was not clear if foul play was involved in the death.
The remains were expected to be turned over to a forensic anthropologist for examination.
