GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - A 37-year-old Gillette woman is being accused of embezzling $43,000 from the Sunshine Custom Paint and Body shop.
Authorities say the problems began more than a year ago.
According to court records, Jaime Stephens, who was the bookkeeper for the company, has been charged with larceny and theft.
The Gillette News Record reports (https://tinyurl.com/oc34xym ) the owner of the business got suspicious and photocopied bills that later disappeared.
Stephens could not be located for comment on Thursday.
