TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say they’ve found the car of a man accused of fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend in Tempe and wounding his neighbor.

Tempe police say they’re still looking for 33-year-old John Brazel, who allegedly stole a pickup truck Thursday in Pinal County and remains at large.

Police say the U.S. Marshals Service has joined the search for Brazel, who’s considered armed and dangerous.

The double shooting occurred Tuesday in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

The neighbor who was injured saw a man and a woman arguing and tried to intervene.

Police say Brazel allegedly shot the woman and then the neighbor before fleeing in his vehicle, which was found Wednesday evening in Mesa.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the neighbor taken to a Tempe hospital.
