GLENMORA, La. (AP) - State police say a single-vehicle crash killed a Glenmora man and seriously injured another man.

Trooper Scott Moreau says neither man was wearing a seatbelt, and both were ejected from a car driven by 28-year-old Brandon W. Willis.

Moreau says Willis was driving northbound on La. Highway 113 at a high rate of speed Wednesday when he lost control, ran off the road and hit a tree around 4 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say his passenger, 20-year-old Erik M. Willis, was taken to Rapides Regional Trauma Center with serious injuries.
