HAMMOND, La. (AP) - Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards is offering a reward of $2,500 for information leading to an arrest in the shooting death of a 16-year-old.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Dawn Panepinto said Wednesday that Hector Dotey died of a gunshot wound to the head Tuesday at his home.
The Advocate reports (https://bit.ly/1jEjINI ) detectives believe Dotey was shot around 3:30 a.m. after an earlier disturbance at the Tangipahoa African American Heritage Center.
