EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) - Hutchinson Technology says it plans to cut about 100 jobs, including about 60 in Eau Claire.
The company says the rest of the layoffs will be in Minnesota, where it has plants in Hutchinson and Plymouth. Hutchinson Technology says the cost reduction move is expected to result in $1.3 million in severance charges in third quarter financial results.
WQOW-TV (https://bit.ly/1pcqeur ) reports the job cuts by the end of July are non-manufacturing positions.
