COGAR, Okla. (AP) - Four people were injured in two separate wrecks caused by cows standing in the middle of a rural Oklahoma highway.
The first wreck was reported late Tuesday on State Highway 52 in Caddo County. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 34-year-old man struck a black cow that was in the middle of the road. The driver was taken to a hospital with head injuries and is in fair condition.
The second wreck occurred early Wednesday in the same spot on the road. The highway patrol says three people, including a juvenile, were injured when their car struck two cows. The car then hit a culvert and crashed into a fence.
The highway patrol says all three people in the car are in fair condition at hospitals.
