ATKINSON, N.H. (AP) - A 150-foot cell tower has been proposed in Atkinson, New Hampshire to expand cellular coverage in the area and into Salem.

The proposal from AT&T was scheduled for review by the Atkinson Planning Board on Wednesday and the Zoning Board of Adjustment.

The Eagle Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1j79FLm) the site is owned by the Atkinson Resort and Country Club.

There is at least one cell tower in town, on Route 111. A proposal for one last year behind the fire station did not succeed.
