VICKSBURG, Miss. (AP) - A judge has reduced to $100,000 the bond for a Vicksburg man arrested in the February death of a 70-year-old relative.

The Vicksburg Post reports (https://bit.ly/1nqhFLq ) Warren County Circuit Judge Isadore Patrick lowered the bond for 55-year-old Caleb Erves after a hearing Monday.

Erves was indicted earlier this month by a Warren County grand jury for depraved heart murder in the death of Emanuel Erves.



Prosecutors say the two men argued shortly after midnight Feb. 23 at a boarding house. Police say the two men are not related.

Prosecutors say the two men lived in different rooms on the same floor of the boarding house.

Caleb Erves is scheduled is scheduled to go to trial Dec. 1.
