Body found on embankment near Houston-area bayou

HOUSTON (AP) - An autopsy has been ordered on a body discovered on an embankment near a Houston-area bayou.

The Houston Chronicle (https://bit.ly/1nouXIa ) reports Harris County sheriff’s deputies are investigating whether the body could be part of a missing-person case.

Officials say the body was discovered Tuesday night on an embankment near a section of White Oak Bayou.

The gender of the person and additional details on the investigation were not immediately released Wednesday.
