$1.83 billion: Amount of federal Sandy relief funds allocated to New Jersey in first round

$1.27 billion : Amount promised by state to applicants



$485 million: Amount received by applicants through mid-May 2014

6,400: People on waiting list for state’s main Sandy relief grant

$100 million: Amount set aside to help 2,700 New Jersey residents elevate their homes

135: Number of state-approved home elevation grants through end of April 2014
