NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD has arrested a man for allegedly putting a credit card skimming device on a Metro-North ticket machine in Grand Central Terminal.

Police say the suspect was arrested when he came to retrieve it.

The MTA says the device was discovered by a maintenance employee last week. It says no one was victimized.

Authorities say police disabled the device, then put it back in the machine and watched it until the suspect came to retrieve it.

In recent months, skimming devices have been found on ticket machines on Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North.
