SAN FERNANDO, Calif. (AP) - A man charged with stabbing a nurse at a Southern California hospital has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and other crimes.
City News Service says 26-year-old Ramiro Carnalla entered the pleas Tuesday.
Prosecutors contend the Los Angeles man stabbed the nurse several times at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center on Easter Sunday.
She survived.
Authorities say the two weren’t acquainted and haven’t suggested a motive for the attack.
