SOUTH BERWICK, Maine (AP) - A Maine chemistry teacher and girls’ basketball coach is being investigated for allegedly photographing female students in secret.
Police said Friday that Brian Sanborn of Sanford has not been charged, but that they will review computers and cameras.
South Berwick police were notified Monday that Sanborn had been fired from Berwick Academy after admitting to inappropriate conduct involving students. Police say Sanborn is under investigation for his actions over the past 12 to 18 months.
Police say they have not yet seen incriminating images.
Sanford has said none of the photos involve nudity or physical contact.
