GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - The three Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate are set to meet in Great Falls in their only scheduled debate before the June 3 primary.

The Great Falls Tribune is hosting Saturday’s debate at Benefis Health System’s Cameron Auditorium. It is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and is free to the public.

Sen. John Walsh is seeking the Democratic nomination to the seat he was appointed to in February after Max Baucus resigned to become ambassador to China.

He is up against former Lt. Gov John Bohlinger and rancher Dirk Adams of Wilsall.

The candidates will take questions from a panel of journalists, along with those submitted by the audience and in advance by the public.

There is no primary debate scheduled for the Republican candidates.
