NEW YORK (AP) - A Bronx assistant principal is facing assault and harassment charges after police say she punched a teacher at her Bronx school.
Police say 57-year-old Josette Joseph struck a 54-year-old teacher in the forehead around noon Friday, causing minor injuries.
Joseph is the assistant principal at P.S. 49 Willis Avenue in Mott Hill. The school serves 672 students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
