LANDER, Wyo. (AP) - The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says two people have been arrested following a home invasion and robbery on Sunday near Lander.
Authorities said Monday that Bow Hepner of Casper and Kelly Meehan of Gillete were arrested near Riverton. Charges are pending.
Deputies say two people stopped at a victim’s home and asked for directions to Rawlins. Authorities say they asked to see a map and took control, keeping victims at bay while they stole several items, including a gun, before they left. The victims were not identified.
Deputies say they pulled over a suspect vehicle in Riverton and Meehan was arrested, while Hepner ran.
Authorities say Hepner was found Monday heading toward Lander on foot and arrested following a short chase.
