SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (AP) - Spring Arbor University says it’s opening a 10,000-square-foot facility in the Detroit suburb of Southfield.
The school’s main campus is in Spring Arbor, about 10 miles west of Jackson.
The university says its Lahser Center II opens Sept. 8. It says the center will include classrooms, one with video-conferencing capability.
Other features will include student computer workstations and offices. Spring Arbor says the site will offer classes toward associate, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.
The Christian liberal arts institution opened in 1873. It now has about 4,000 students and operates at 18 locations in Michigan and Ohio.
