OPINION:
I am so very proud of Sen. Mark Begich, Alaska Democrat, for joining Senate Republicans in calling for an audit of the Federal Reserve.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of Americans have little idea how the Federal Reserve, Goldman Sachs and the military-industrial complex have lobbied to gain riches while making the United States bankrupt. Every dollar we spend (but don’t have) on programs and wars makes these people richer.
It is my hope that there are more Democrats who will refuse to follow President Obama off the cliff into economic oblivion. The sad thing is even Mr. Begich voted to make all of us slaves to Obamacare. Thanks to him, very few of us can afford to take early retirement. However, I’ll take a Mr. Begich over most other Democrats who would blindly follow the president regardless of his unconstitutional actions.
