GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - A Greenville police officer has been hurt after being struck by a car.

Police are looking for the driver of the car that hit the officer late Saturday.

Two police officers had responded to a suspicious vehicle report at an apartment complex when the officer was hit. They say the suspect backed over the officer.



The officer’s name has not been released.
