BRICK TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Firefighters and police came to the aid of a teenager who was seriously injured in a fall while riding a motorbike alone in a wooded area of southern New Jersey.

Brick Township police tell the Asbury Park Press (https://on.app.com/1n7v27n) that the teen was taken to a hospital with arm and head injuries suffered in the fall, which occurred Sunday afternoon near Drum Point Road.

The teen’s name and gender were not released, and further details on the youth’s condition were not disclosed.



The teen was able to call 911 for help and was found a short time later by rescue crews in an area near the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge.
