GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - The Montana Highway Patrol says a 47-year-old Great Falls woman was killed in a motorcycle crash outside of the city.

The woman’s 22-year-old passenger was seriously injured in Saturday’s crash and taken to a hospital.

The Cascade County Sheriff’s Office had not named either woman as of Sunday morning.

The Great Falls Tribune reports (gftrib.com/1sHXiKU) the women were riding north on Stockett Road when the driver missed a curve and left the roadway.

Highway patrol officials say both women were thrown from the motorcycle. Neither was wearing a helmet.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
