MURRELLS INLET, S.C. (AP) - Families new to camping get an outdoor experience at Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet.
The annual Palmetto Campout is scheduled for Saturday night.
The families stay overnight in a secluded area of the park with rangers who will help in setting up tents. Rangers teach campfire cooking and camping secrets. Those attending also learn how to catch crabs and shrimp, paddle kayaks and more.
