LACEY, Wash. (AP) - The Washington State Patrol says a wrong-way driver was responsible for a crash early Friday on Interstate 5 near Lacey.

The patrol says a driver was going north in the southbound lanes for about three miles before hitting an oncoming car at Nisqually.

Three people were injured and the southbound lanes were closed about three hours.

The patrol says the wrong-way driver is being booked into the Thurston County Jail for investigation of vehicular assault.
