TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Tulsa police say one person was struck and killed by an SUV while standing on the shoulder of U.S. 169.

Police say the victim was helping load a disabled motorcycle onto a truck on Thursday night when the collision occurred. Two other people suffered minor injuries in the collision.

Northbound lanes of the highway were shut down as police investigated the fatal collision. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.



Authorities say they don’t yet know if the driver of the SUV will be arrested.
