BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Officials in Boise say a couple has been arrested and their two children removed from a home strewn with human and animal feces.

KTVB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1hS6582) that police arrested the man and woman Wednesday evening on suspicion of felony injury to a child. They have been released on bail.

The Ada County Sheriff’s Office went to the home on April 14 following a tip.



Deputies say they found chickens living in the house that also included garbage and rotting food.

Deputies also say they found a working chain saw in the living room.

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare took custody of the children.
