ST. LOUIS (AP) - A 46-year-old homeless man has been charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of another homeless man outside the downtown St. Louis library.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (bit.ly/1iTQswq ) reports that Gary Lamont Guiden was arrested on Friday and charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and witness tampering in connection with 41-year-old Jeronnia Grave’s death two days earlier.

Guiden is a registered sex offender with a previous conviction for domestic assault and armed criminal action. He is being held without bail.

Police say Graves was attacked by Guiden in a dispute over a woman. Guiden had apparently seen Graves on the street with an ex-girlfriend and became enraged.
