BARNESVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Investigators are examining how a police cruiser in Barnesville struck and killed two pedestrians.

The Georgia State Patrol says the collision happened Friday around 1 a.m.

A police cruiser driven by 44-year-old Terry Belvin hit 25-year-old Justin Sullivan and 21-year-old Quentin Byrd. WMAZ-TV reports (https://on.wmaz.com/1gOkeD1 ) that authorities believe the two men were walking in the travel lane.



Belvin was treated for minor injuries. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident.
