PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - A 26-year-old Yuma man is hospitalized after being stabbed during a fight in a Prescott bar.

Police say Justin Swanson and his girlfriend and another woman were in a North Cortez Street bar Wednesday night when they got into an altercation with three men.

According to police, the verbal altercation turned into a physical fight during which Swanson was stabbed in the arm and shoulder.



The arm puncture hit an artery, causing severe bleeding. Police say Swanson is being treated at a Phoenix-area hospital.

The three other men fled before police arrived.
