JAMESBURG, N.J. (AP) - It should be a quieter day for students at four central New Jersey schools.

They were ordered to shelter in place on Wednesday after a drug suspect escaped from the Jamesburg police station.

Police apprehended 19-year-old Naser Zucker in Thompson Park in Monroe Township nearly two hours later.

Officials say students were not in danger during the escape. But they were sheltered in place as a precaution at two schools in Jamesburg and two schools in Monroe Township.

Zucker is held on $150,000 bail, charged with escape and drug charges.

The circumstances surrounding the escape remain under investigation.
