KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) - A Golden Valley man is facing charges after police say he knocked out his adult son during a fight.
The Kingman Daily Miner reports (https://goo.gl/no1BaB) that 59-year-old Randy East was arrested Saturday shortly following police finding East’s 39-year-old son unconscious and bleeding from his head.
According to Kingman police, the father and son had been drinking and had an argument that turned physical.
Witnesses told police the son struck his head on the pavement.
The son was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center and ultimately to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
East was booked on a felony charge of domestic violence by aggravated assault.
It was not known if he had an attorney.
