DELAWARE, Ohio (AP) - Prosecutors say a 23-year-old man accused of stabbing a central Ohio college class president as he slept in his fraternity house has been indicted on four charges, including attempted murder.

Police allege Nicholas Eber stabbed 21-year-old Anthony Peddle in the Chi Phi fraternity house at Ohio Wesleyan University because of a relationship dispute involving Peddle’s roommate.

Peddle suffered hand injuries in the May 3 stabbing. A statement from the Delaware County prosecutor says Peddle was found bleeding profusely and had to be flown to a Columbus hospital.

Eber also is charged with felonious assault, aggravated burglary and tampering with evidence.

The Delaware, Ohio, resident had no attorney listed in court records.
