HOUMA, La. (AP) - The director of a Houma-Thibodaux technical college is the new interim chancellor at Houma’s community college.
Earl Meador was appointed interim chancellor of Fletcher Technical Community College. The Courier reports (https://bit.ly/1k4AEM1 ) the action came Wednesday in a unanimous vote by the Louisiana Community and Technical College System Board of Supervisors.
Meador now serves as director of South Central Louisiana Technical College, which has campuses in Thibodaux, Galliano, Morgan City and Reserve.
He will begin his new post at Fletcher immediately, filling a vacancy created by longtime Chancellor Travis Lavigne, who announced his retirement last month.
