BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The Abused Adult Resource Center in Bismarck says it needs volunteers to help answer its crisis lines after hours.
Training is provided free of charge and volunteers would be required to listen and offer support on issues like abusive relationships, domestic violence and sexual assault.
The center also says it needs volunteers to help answer office phones, work at its thrift store and provide childcare at shelters.
The AARC is a non-profit organization that helps victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in south central North Dakota.
Those interested in volunteering can find more information at the organization’s website at www.abusedadultresourcecenter.com.
