GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - A federal judge has sentenced three South Mississippi residents to prison terms in a federal case involving meth-trafficking and firearms violations.

U.S. District Judge Sul Ozerden sentenced Steven Gentry, of Poplarville, to just over six years in prison followed by five years of supervised release for conspiring to distribute crystal meth.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1sve9k6 ) federal agents have identified Gentry as a major supplier of crystal meth, or ice, shipped to Hancock County from Texas on commercial vehicles.



In addition Wednesday, Ozerden sentenced Jessey Bellais, of Kiln, to 9 ½ years in prison followed by three years of supervised release for conspiring to distribute crystal meth.

His brother, Cole Bellais, received a 4 year prison sentence followed by three years of supervised release for possession of a modified shotgun.
